The teaser for “Bad Boys 4,” starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, was just published by Sony Pictures. The official title of the movie is “Bad Boys: Ride or Die.”

This is the fourth movie in the well-known action-comedy series, which began in 1995 with Smith and Lawrence playing Miami Police Department investigators Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, who look into illegal drug trafficking in the city.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah directed “Bad Boys for Life” and are back for this most recent entry in the “Bad Boys” saga, whereas Michael Bay helmed the first two movies.

Starring with her are Vanessa Hudgens, Joe Pantoliano, Rhea Seehorn, Tasha Smith, Melanie Liburd, Eric Dane, Ioan Gruffudd, and Paola Núñez.

Additionally, Tiffany Haddish joined the cast of the movie from Sony in an unidentified capacity. After costarring in the 2017 smash film “Girls Trip” alongside Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith, Haddish developed a close relationship with the Smith family.

Regarding this franchise, “Bad Boys II” (2003) and “Bad Boys for Life” (2020), which came out in theaters shortly before the COVID-19 epidemic closed, were released seventeen years apart and brought in $426.5 million at the global box office.

Smith and Lawrence used social media in January to reveal the news of the fourth episode, posting a reunion video along with the message, “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!”

Mike was on a young man named Armando’s (Jacob Scipio) hit list in “Bad Boys for Life.” His mother Isabel (Kate del Castillo) had given him the mission of killing the people who killed his father, a drug kingpin. The fact that Armando is actually Mike’s son is revealed to audiences in the third movie, and a sequence after the credits suggests that father and son may collaborate in some way.

On June 7, “Bad Boys 4” is scheduled to open in theaters.
